CoIP - Cordless over IP Phones
Cordless over IP phones are implemented using the DB56K chip set. The Cordless over IP Phone chip set combines VoIP, PSTN traditional telephone and Digital Cordless functionality on a single chip. It is designed to enable Digital Cordless Multi-Handset capability to assign an individual line to every cordless Handset once combined with multiple VoIP lines and traditional PSTN telephony, without additional cost.
It creates a whole spectrum of new residential applications for the rapidly growing VoIP space, such as Presence and Instance Messaging experience and E-Mail notification. It allows WEB management and control of the phone book, calls and others.
