The D36k and D56k Families of Integrated Digital Baseband processors for Digital Cordless Telephony are the most versatile in the industry. DSP Group's Cordless chipset portfolio includes to the most sophisticated Enhanced Digital Cordless with Multi-line, Multi-handset capability, DECT and a roadmap to emerging BluetoothTM and Broadband wireless home technologies.
Integration of the TeakLiteTM RISC DSP core into the Baseband chip enables software implementation of a variety of voice coders, and provides a flexible platform for a wide range of solutions. Both software and hardware are compatible for the entire range of products: from a basic cordless phone with Caller ID up to a fully featured solution including the integration of DSP Group's famous TRUESPEECH® TRIPLE RATE CODER® speech compression, Hands-free TRUE FULL DUPLEX SPEAKERPHONE®, Caller ID Type I&II detection, FLEXISPEECHTM variable speed playback, Voice Recognition, Background Noise Reduction and Speech Synthesis, as well as built-in Multi-line support. In addition, the integrated DSP also enables advanced functions such as an audio notch filter to remove TDD frame-related noise and a line echo canceller.
