VoIP Telephony Solutions for the Home

Overview
Cordless VoIP telephones enable service providers already offering high-quality audio to leverage the Internet in order to expand home telephony services, thereby opening up a new world of IP applications and services. The cordless VoIP phone handset communicates via RF transmission with a base station at the subscriber's premises that is connected to the IP network. The phone maintains an effective range that enables full mobility at the subscriber's premises and within close proximity outdoors.

DSP Group®'s cordless-over-IP (CoIP) software development kit (SDK) and accompanying reference applications help consumer electronics (CE) manufacturers reduce development efforts and time to market. The CoIP SDK is a comprehensive framework enabling rapid and easy introduction of new embedded features within enhanced low-to-high-end products.
