XpandR SDK 2
Overview

DSP Group®'s XpandR® SDK 2 provides a solid foundation of tools and packages for carrying out embedded software development. Reducing time to market of embedded Linux projects, the SDK leverages DSP Group's modular design for easy upgrades and individual component enhancement. In addition, the SDK enables simplified porting of open source applications, easy integration of custom applications, and smooth dependency handling between various open source components.

  • DW-based products should be based on similar SW architecture
  • Easy replacement of MMI layer
  • SDK layer is unaware of MMI layer
  • Responsibility for both kernel and middleware layers
  • MMI and some applications are provided as samples, and are based on Qtopia Home/Phone Edition package
