RF19 / RF19Z

Overview

The RF19 is a highly integrated radio frequency IC (RFIC) transceiver and power amplifier for DECT-standard applications that operate in allocated frequency ranges in Europe, North America, Latin America, Korea and the rest of the world.

RF19Z provides even higher level of integration by also integrating external RF circuitry of T/R switch, Antenna switch, and the Tx and Rx Balun filters into the silicon, forming a complete RF-module-on-chip for the lowest system cost.

The RF19/RF19Z can be used in conjunction with DSP Group™ baseband offerings (i.e. DMW, DE56, Vega Firebird), all of which include the DECT burst-mode controller (BMC) or Burst mode processor (BMP).

RF19 and RF19Z and the Communications Protocol SW can be configured via EEPROM parameters to support different RF Channel Plans, RF tuning, Regulatory constraints and different Interference scenarios found in different regions of the world.
