DSP Group®'s DECT/CAT-iq module reference design enables customers to develop a DECT/CAT-iq module based on the Company's single-chip architecture (VegaOne and DCX). The module can be integrated into broadband residential gateways such as DSL Internet Access Devices (IAD), cable embedded Multimedia Terminal Adapters (eMTA), set-top boxes (STBs), IP office PBX's, PON (Passive Optical Network) modems and more at the home and office.
The module software reference design provides multi-line, multi-handset, DECT/CAT-iq base on a module with flexible and scalable API for the gateway host processor.
The DECT/CAT-iq module is a small form factor, fully functional cordless base module, based on DSP Group's DECT chipset. The module can be either mounted as a daughterboard, or directly integrated in the residential gateway's main board. The communications interface to the residential gateway processor can be either via a UART/SPI interface for control and IOM interface for audio, or via a USB interface.
